Willibald Schulte emigrated at age 20 from Selkentrop, Westfalen, Germany to Bow Valley, NE in 1870. Elisabeth Wiesner emigrated from Dormecke, Westfalen at age 3 with her family in 1860 first to the copper mining portion of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, then to Bow Valley in 1865. Willibald homesteaded in April of 1871 and they married in 1875. Today their descendants live throughout the U.S, primarily in Nebraska, Texas, Minnesota, and Montana.
