Willibald and Elisabeth's names on the Immigrant Wall of Honor at Ellis Island, NY!

Willibald and Elisabeth's names are on large panels in the foreground. The World Trade Center in the background was destroyed on 9/11.

Willibald immigrated to America in 1870, prior to the opening of Ellis Island. He entered the U.S. at Castle Garden, shown above, the former immigration processing center in New York.  Castle Garden is located on the lower tip of Manhattan in a National Park known as The Battery. Dennis Schulte finds Elisabeth's name on the Immigrant Wall of Honor.

Although Willibald arrived at Castle Clinton on Manhattan Island in New York (1870) and Elisabeth landed in Baltimore, Maryland (1860), memorials to their coming to America are located on Ellis Island in New York Harbor.
